Senior Manager IR/QEC and Manager IR/QEC attended a 3-day Quality Assurance workshop conducted by Sindh HEC on February 1st - 3rd, 2023. The workshop was specially designed for QA professionals of Sindh aiming to produce trained Institutional Programme Reviewers. The keynote trainers from Academia ascertained that HEC is striving to improve the quality of higher education and research; it is of absolute priority that Universities and Degree Awarding Institutes adopt international standards and best practices to achieve the highest quality in education and transparency is the key to achieving this.

Manager IR/QEC, Ms. Mahwash Imran was selected by QAA of HEC (Islamabad) as a Review Panel member for conducting Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) Review Visit of Poonch University, Rawlakot, Azad Kashmir in November, 2022. During this 3 day visit as a Reviewer, she assessed the documents consisting of 11 standards of IPE, University Portfolio Report (UPR) and University Wide data of Poonch University. She also visited the facilities including library, classrooms, labs, etc., and held interactions with Students, Faculty, Deans, Chairpersons, HODs of Academic and Administrative units, Registrar and the Vice Chancellor of Poonch University.

SZABIST QEC office at Dubai Campus arranged an online presentation on "The Higher Education Classification Process at KHDA, Govt. of Dubai" by the Head of Dubai Campus, Dr. Hummayoun Naeem on 14th September, 2022. The presentation was aimed for QEC representatives in other campuses to make them aware about the rating system and classification of institutes in UAE by KHDA(Regulatory Authority of the Government of Dubai, UAE). QEC counterparts came to know how SZABIST Dubai Campus works all around the year and reports to KHDA for regulation and compliance.

The Review Panel comprised of Dr. Arshia Samin Naqvi, Director QEC at Sohail University as an external evaluator, Dr. Noman Soomro, Program Manager BABS & BS Entrepreneurship and Ms. Aliya Saleem, Senior Controller Examination Department as Internal evaluators. The Review Panel conducted an exit meeting with Dr. Riaz Ahmed Shaikh, Acting Vice President Academics and Dean of Education and Social Sciences.
